No minimum deposit is required to open and maintain an account at tastytrade. However, if you want to trade with margin privileges, you’ll need a margin account with a minimum account balance of $2,000.

We do not charge a fee for incoming ACATS transfers; the transferring broker may charge you an outgoing ACATS transfer fee. We will reimburse this fee up to $75 for each transfer of at least $2,000.
