You can trade WTI Crude Oil futures in three sizes: standard Crude Oil (/CL, 1,000 barrels), E-mini Crude Oil (/QM, 500 barrels), and Micro Crude Oil (/MCL, 100 barrels). Yes. Oil futures options are available on standard Crude Oil (/CL) and Micro Crude Oil (/MCL). /CL also lists Monday, Wednesday, and Friday weekly expirations in addition to monthly expirations. To enable portfolio margin on your tastytrade account, you must first have a margin-enabled "The Works" account with a minimum of $125,000 in equity in your account.
If your account meets those requirements, you can enable portfolio margin on the Trading Preferences tab. Note: once portfolio margin is enabled, your account must maintain a balance of $100,000 in equity.
Crude Oil futures are available in standard (1,000 barrels), E-mini (500 barrels), and Micro (100 barrels) contract sizes, though not every oil product is listed in every size. Brent Crude Oil (/BZ), for example, trades in the standard size only. See our futures contracts specifications for more information.
